Marcin Berdyszak Vicious Circles of Madness
The works of Marcin Berdyszak are tinged with existential unease about human fate being predetermined by our position in time and place as well as our station in life; we remain imprisoned in a vicious circle of which we are not entirely aware and that we cannot quite control.
Paweł Althamer, Artur Żmijewski The Ultimate Song
At the exhibition we present a selection of 20 collages created between 2017 and 2019. The collages are made of excerpts cut out from books – starting with Taschen’s erotic and pornographic publications, through nature and anatomical albums, to scientific atlases.
Anthropocene. Student Exhibition – Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow
The works presented at the exhibition express a sense of unease and insecurity at the prospect of the predicted climatic catastrophe. Nature can no longer take the human impact.
Dialogue with the Space
Works in which the relationship with the surroundings they are in plays a significant role and provides a semantic clinch are usually called installations. Artists employ the exhibition space available or design it themselves. In this presentation, we show 14 works that form a relationship with a neutral environment.
Contemporary Models of Realism
Contemporary art has crossed another linguistic frontier of realistic representation. The works presented here employ realistic language to take on board everything that matters in today’s world.

The artist called his works Concept-Shapes. He sometimes invested works and punctuation marks with a spatial form, combining an intellectual experience with that of the senses, thus revealing the diffusion of the two.
