For the reasons behind the decision, please refer to the official statement from Kraków City Hall: https://krakow.pl/aktualnosci/320229,33,komunikat,zmiany_personalne_w_mocak-u__adam_budak_odwolany_ze_stanowiska_dyrektora_.html
The current focus of the museum team is to ensure the institution’s continued operation and the carrying out of its day-to-day functions. The trade unions will continue to monitor further developments and working conditions from the perspective of the employees. Our main priority remains, as before, respect for the rights of the workers and ensuring that their voices are taken into account in decisions regarding the museum’s future. Above all, we expect stability in the institution’s operations, transparent internal processes, a friendly working atmosphere and a genuine dialogue involving the City Council, the management and the museum team.
We would like to express our thanks to the Mayor of Kraków Aleksander Miszalski and Kraków City Council for acting decisively and swiftly in order to investigate the situation at the museum and stabilise our place of work.
