Ben Patterson

One of the leading figures in Fluxus. For the artist, who was a musician by training, this international art movement that promoted new music meant a change of direction towards a fusion of different media, experiments, coincidence and live action. Patterson combines music with visual arts and text, producing performances with a musical accompaniment. He creates situations that involve audience participation, often playful in form. He constructs objects, making unconventional use of everyday things.
