The World Through the Eye of the Artist
On 25 November 2012, an art workshop took place, during which children found out about the art of the Fluxus group and explored ways of looking at the world with an artist’s eye.

Collages II
On 20 November 2012 the second workshop of the series Collages took place, inspired by Jiří Kolář’s exhibition Collage with an Ermine and led by Elżbieta Sala. A group of patients from the J. Babiński Specialist Hospital in Krakow viewed the exhibition of the work of the Czech collage master as well as selected works from the MOCAK Collection.

Open Door Day - Warm Collages

Playing with Books: Where’s the Cake?
On 20 October 2012, there took place the second in the series of literature-cum-art workshops entitled Playing with Books. The session was organised by MOCAK in collaboration with the publishers EneDueRabe.

Art-protected Nature – exhibition of children’s work
On 28 September 2012, the opening took place of the exhibition Art-protected Nature. The presented works were created by children from Krakow nursery schools as part of the competition EDUeko, organised by IKEA Poland.

reCYCLING vol. 2 - YES to sports, YES to art
On 1 September 2012 the second edition of the action reCYCLING took place at the Museum. The participants not only had a chance to freshen up their bikes, but also to widen their bicycle know-how, visit the exhibition Sport in Art and test their prowess in the Schwinn Cycling marathon. The street-art collective Massmix was the special guest.

The Parade of Muscle Men
On 22 August 2012 the Parade of Muscle Men took place – the last session in the series Summer at MOCAK! The activity was led by Justyna Koeke, Maria Wegenke and Elżbieta Sala. The workshop had been inspired by Justyna Koeke’s performance Showing Muscles on 18 May, during the opening of the exhibition Sport in Art.

Walking in Lipowa Street
On 12 August 2012 the third event of the series Summer at MOCAK! took place. With the artist Artur Wabik acting as the guide, the participants were introduced to the street-art attractions of the Zabłocie district, where the Museum is situated.

(Get a) Move (on)
On the 10 July 2012 as part of Summer at MOCAK! the workshop (Get a) Move (on) took place, during which children became familiar with the various methods of presenting sports disciplines and physical exertion in the work of contemporary artists shown at the exhibition Sport in Art.
