We Are Getting to Know the Collection
On the 29 January 2013, there took place an art workshop for the Krakow Archdiocese Caritas Occupational Therapy group. During their tour of the Museum, the group became acquainted with the exhibition of the MOCAK Collection and created a series of art works inspired by selected exhibits from the Collection.

Colourful Emotions
On the 24 January 2013, a workshop took place for the pupils of the No 2 Association of Special Schools in Krakow. To begin, on colourful balloons, the participants drew self-portraits showing their own emotions.

The Landscape of Our Emotions
On 27 January 2013, children were invited to visit Anita Glesta’s exhibition Guernica and an associated art workshop. Pablo Picasso’s famous painting Guernica – a reference point for the works presented by the American artist – became the starting point for the creative workshop.

Warm Snow
In the workshop on 23 January 2013 children created a series of installations themed on winter. The first wintery accent was the ‘warm snow’ which sprinkled MOCAK’s windows.

Wandering art
On 16 January 2013, a winter art workshop took place. The children went on a walking tour of the MOCAK Collection, wearing warm, colourful socks which they had previously created during the workshop.

Image and Word
On 15 January 2013, an art workshop took place for the patients of the J. Babiński Specialist Hospital in Krakow. The aim of the session was to consider the relationship between image and word.

The exhibition The House and the Garden of My Dreams (2)
On 10 December 2012, following a children’s competition, the opening took place of the exhibition of the winning children’s works, The House and the Garden of My Dreams.

Imagination Factory
On 9 December 2012, there took place a workshop inspired by Wojciech Wilczyk’s exhibition Post-industrial Spaces – a series of black-and-white photographs of abandoned industrial buildings.

Intercollage
On 4 December 2012, the workshop Intercollage took place, which had been prepared for the Seniors’ Centre, run by the Association for the Development of Psychiatry and Care in Community.

Senior Citizen Week at MOCAK
The action Senior Citizen Week took place from the 26th to the 30th November 2012; it targeted organisations and institutions catering for that age group.
