How much does one pay for a journey? Sometimes, no more than just a smile. On 29 May 2013, patients from the Ward for the Treatment of Personality Disorders and Neuroses of the Dr. J. Babiński Specialist Hospital in Krakow visited the Museum.

Read Books at Night
During this year’s Museums at Night, we invited all visitors, both children and adults, to join us in the creation of unique art books and to ‘read books at night’. It was also an opportunity to explore art books from the MOCAK Library collection.

Playing with Books. Miś Uszatek’s New Friends
On 12 May 2013, we organised the children workshop Playing with Books for the fourth time. The session started with a walking tour of the Museum in the search of Robert Maciejuk’s painting of Miś Uszatek.

Project Community of Art: Discover the Other Side!
On 9 May we organised a second workshop for adults with autism within the project carried out by the Museum in co-operation with the Community of Hope Foundation.

Project In the Direction of Art: Discover the Other Side!
9 May 2013 was the day of the third visit of pupils from the Special Schools Complex no. 2 in Krakow, an institution for children and teenagers with chronic diseases, including mental disorders, treated at the Saint Louis Provincial Specialist Children’s Hospital and the University Hospital in Krakow.

Slow Art Day
Slow Art Day is the Polish edition of the international museum action Slow Art Day, based on the concept that it is possible to take it easy when visiting a museum or a gallery, focusing just on a few selected exhibits.

European Funds Festival
During 19 – 21 April 2013, as part of the European Funds Festival, three free-entry museum lessons took place, workshops for art college students and an open project tailored to all age groups.
