Timeline
Slow Art Day 2013
This is the Polish edition of the international museum action Slow Art Day and it is the second time that it has taken place at MOCAK. On the day, the visitors will take time to focus their attention on five pre-selected works from permanent and temporary exhibitions. An hour later, all the participants will gather in the MOCAK Café to share their impressions.
The Living Library
The preparation of a museum exhibition is akin to a journey of discovery, that – apart from the very joy of travelling – also aims to verify the existing maps and to create a new topography of the phenomena of interest to us. The exhibition at the MOCAK Reading Room is the outcome of just such an exploration of its environment. Living Library sets out to capture the seminal moments in the life of books, highlighting their fascinating co-existence with the transformations in Polish reality.
The Living Library exhibition opening
Next week, 23 April at 6 p.m., the MOCAK Library will host the opening of The Living Library exhibition. We would like to invite you to a tour of the exhibition and presentation of Waldemar Węgrzyn’s project, Electrolibrary at 5.30 p.m.
