Playing with Books: Miś Uszatek's New Friends
Children 3-8 years old and their parents are invited to another workshop in the Playing with Books series. During this meeting the children will learn about and make new illustrations for the book Miś Uszatek by Czesław Janczarski. The meeting is co-organized by Nasza Księgarnia Publishers.

All are invited to MOCAK for the promotion of a book of biographical reportage depicting the fates of a pair of Polish architectural visionaries: Zofia and Oskar Hansen. Filip Springer tells of their unusual personalities, their bold architecture, and the gray reality that irreversibly modified their most courageous designs.

1933, 1943, 1953 – INTERACTIONS the International Art Festival
The exhibition fills three spaces and is devoted to three phenomena – two of these are Stuart Brisley and Alastair MacLennan. The third is an encounter with four artists: Jaap Blonk from the Netherlands, Seiji Shimoda from Japan, Roi Vaara from Finland and Artur Tajber from Poland
Slow Art Day 2013
This is the Polish edition of the international museum action Slow Art Day and it is the second time that it has taken place at MOCAK. On the day, the visitors will take time to focus their attention on five pre-selected works from permanent and temporary exhibitions. An hour later, all the participants will gather in the MOCAK Café to share their impressions.
The Living Library
The preparation of a museum exhibition is akin to a journey of discovery, that – apart from the very joy of travelling – also aims to verify the existing maps and to create a new topography of the phenomena of interest to us. The exhibition at the MOCAK Reading Room is the outcome of just such an exploration of its environment. Living Library sets out to capture the seminal moments in the life of books, highlighting their fascinating co-existence with the transformations in Polish reality.

We would like to invite you to a meeting organised to promote the latest issue of ‘Autoportret’. The new issue of the magazine is devoted to industrial spaces and their historic and contemporary relations with the city. What is the role of industry within the city space and how should we treat vintage industrial buildings?
