In February and March we present the work Sex, Medicated, Rock’n’Roll by Anatoly Belov. It is a story about love, but also about the impact of exposing cultural and social stereotypes. Viewings will be also available as a live stream.

A new venue has arrived on the literary map of Krakow for the lovers of art and literature to enjoy. The coming Tuesday – 2 February – MOCAK-bookstore-BUNKIER will open at 20 Rynek.

On Thursday 4 February at 7 pm take a guided tour of the exhibition Artists from Krakow: The Generation 1950–1969. The curators Monika Kozioł and Martyna Sobczyk will talk about the works. The session will be conducted in Polish.
The publication Marian Eile: Artist and Editor is now out!
The catalogue that accompanies the Marian Eile exhibition Artist and Editor comprises reminiscences about Marian Eile, essays, interviews with Mieczysław Czuma and Wojciech Plewiński and the timeline of Eile’s life. The second part of the publication takes a closer look at the areas of Eile’s activity – as painter, editor and photographer.

MOCAK Bookstore nominated in the action 'Let's Pick the Bookstors of 2020'
The City of Krakow in conjunction with Krakow Festival Bureau – which operates the programme Krakow UNESCO City of Literature – have organised the current edition of the competition 'Let’s Pick the Bookshop of the Year'. MOCAK Bookstore is one of the nominated bookshops.
