Thursdays with Artists from the MOCAK Collection. Leopold Kessler
In May and June, an interview with Leopoled Kessler will be released. Artist talks about his works presented in our Museum, with much focus on how Surrogate City Bike Station / MOCAK 2015 came to exist, that is now exhibited permanently near the Museum building at Lipowa Street.
Active Reading: Tu i teraz!
On Saturday 25 June at 12 noon children up to the age of 8 are invited along with the adults in charge to the active reading of the book Tu i teraz!. The workshop will be conducted in Polish.
Together: The intergenerational workshop | KRAKERS Cracow Art Week
As part of this year’s edition of KRAKERS Cracow Art Week, an intergenerational workshop 'Together' will be held on Saturday, 11 June at midday. Whole families or groups of friends are invited to participate in shared activity.
Children’s Day at MOCAK
On Wednesday, June 1, children and teenagers are offered a special ticket for 2 PLN.
Active Reading: Proszę mnie przytulić
On Saturday 28 May at 12 noon children up to the age of 8 are invited along with the adults in charge to the active reading workshop (conducted in Polish).
Night of Museums at MOCAK
On Friday 13 May come to the Night of the Museums at MOCAK! The visitors will be able to see all the exhibitions and take part in the events that have been prepared especially for the occasion. On the day, the Museum will be open only from 6 pm until 1 am. A special price ticket at 1 PLN.
Maks Levin, War Correspondent
The show presents photographs by Maks Levin, taken from 2014 to 2022. The earliest works cover events that took place on Independence Square (Maidan) in Kyiv. The most recent photographs report on beginning of Russian invasion on Ukraine (February and March 2022).
Thursdays with Artists from the MOCAK Collection. Shinji Ogawa
In March, April and on May 5 we present the interview with Shinji Ogawa. He talks about his artistic education and recalls his inspirations and journeys, which often proved for him a source of creative material.
Politics in Art
Politics in Art is the 10th exhibition in the flagship MOCAK series, in which we combine art with the most important civilisational concepts. Each exhibition presents a variety of artistic interpretations of a given theme. Politics in Art has been confronted with a tragic time when political ambitions have turned into a crime.
