In September and October, we show an interview with Franciszek Orłowski. The artist talks about the beginnings of his creative path and the factors that influenced his choice of the dominant medium in his work. He discusses some of his works, including the project This Blood is for You.
Active Reading: Phillip and His Mother Who Had Forgotten
On Saturday 15 October at 12 noon children up to the age of 8 are invited along with the adults in charge to the active reading of the book Phillip and His Mother Who Had Forgotten. The workshop will be conducted in Polish.

On Saturday 17 September, from 10 am until 4 pm we invite Krakow residents and visitors to the city to take part in the action Drop in to Huta.
Mieczysław Porębski: Portrait of the Master
On the tenth anniversary of the death of Mieczysław Porębski, the MOCAK Library will host a display of photographs and portraits of this outstanding theoretician, critic and art historian. We will present objects from the Museum Archives: photographs from the time of the occupation, family photographs and documentation of Porębski’s foreign travels. An important part of the exhibition will be the Professor’s portraits made by artists who were friends of his.
Thursdays with Artists from the MOCAK Collection. Lukáš Houdek
In July and August, we present an interview with Lukáš Houdek. The interview includes discussion on how the work Hope Tour came to be. This work is currently displayed as a part of Politcs in Art exhibition that covers a very actual issue of European migrant crisis.
Donate blood in MOCAK
On Thursday, 28 July from 10 am until 2 pm, you will be able to donate blood on MOCAK site. There will be a mobile blood donation unit of the RCKiK. The statutory requirement for blood donation is that the blood donor is able to speak and write Polish.
Jazz Night 2022 at MOCAK!

Microstories. Travels Around the World | Meeting with Nora E. Huerta Flores (Mexico)
Participant of the Franciszek Orłowski’s project This Blood is for You will talk about her experience of migration and support for migrant women in Kraków. The meeting will be held in English.
