Szymborska: Continued Meet the Poets
On Sunday 6 March at 6 pm you are invited to an evening reading of the poetry of Wisława Szymborska. The event accompanies the exhibition to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the poet’s death. The event will be conducted in Polish.
Active Reading: Tornado Jumi
On Saturday 26 February at 12 noon children up to the age of 8 are invited along with the adults in charge to the active reading of the book Tornado Jumi. The workshop will be conducted in Polish.
Gala project Make Yourself Available! in MOCAK

On Sunday 20 February at 6 pm MOCAK Library invites you to an online session of the Art of Storytelling Book Club. We will be talking about the book Winter by Ali Smith, translated by Jerzy Kozłowski (Wydawnictwo WAB, 2021). The session will be held in Polish.
Libraries without Frontiers: Book Collection for Refugees and Migrants
The MOCAK Library is looking forward to receiving publications for adults and children, simple board games, e-book readers and art materials. The collected items will be donated to refugee centres on the eastern border of Poland.

In January and February, as part of the project Thursdays with Artists from the MOCAK Collection, we will be presenting an interview with Shahar Marcus, in which, amongst other things, the artist talks about his first experiences with art and explains the philosophy behind his work.
Opening Hours of the MOCAK Library during the Christmas and New Year period
MOCAK Library will be closed from 24 to 27 December, as well as on 31 December and 1 January. On the remaining days, the visitors are welcome during our regular opening hours, from 9 am to 5 pm.
