As part of this year’s edition of KRAKERS Cracow Art Week, an intergenerational workshop 'Together' will be held on Saturday, 11 June at midday. Whole families or groups of friends are invited to participate in shared activity. Our point of reference will be the work by Kateřina Šedá called It doesn’t matter (2005-2007) presented as part of the exhibition Dialogue with the Space. The event will commence with short guided tour focused on the work. Then, participants will have an opportunity to jointly reflect on what family is and how one can cherish togetherness through art, and how art could help embrace differences and find common language. This all would then lead to joint artistic effort to visualize shared ideas.

The workshop will be led in Polish and English.

Location: Arcades near the MOCAK Library / audiovisual room (depending on weather conditions)
Duration: 2 hours
Registration: edukacja@mocak.pl
Entry fee: 14 PLN

Workshop led by:

Joanna Pottle, American artist, researcher and educator, Fulbright Foundation scholar, living in Kraków since 2019 and cooperating with MOCAK’s Art Knowledge Department

Anna Skoczeń, educator, designer and graphic designer, animator, graduate of Animation Film Studio in Kraków Academy of Fine Arts
