MOCAK at the Warsaw Book Fair
During 15 – 19 May, you are welcome to visit the stand of MOCAK the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow at the Warsaw Book Fair, which for the first time will take place at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
Disabilities Week at MOCAK
The action is addressed to organisations and institutions for the disabled or acting on their behalf. During 24 – 31 May, we will be running free workshops and guided tours tailor-made for disabled persons who would like to get to know the Museum and take part in creative workshops.

A New Exhibition Space in MOCAK! We Are Opening the Re Gallery
From a Reception Hall to a Gallery - thus we might render the story of the building which will display works by young artists, debutantes on the art market, beginning in May 2013. The Re Gallery has been created with Polish and foreign art students in mind, and, together with the Alfa Gallery and the Beta Gallery, embodies the idea of the museum, aiming to show contemporary art in as wide a context as possible.
A Debate at Radio Krakow The Marriage of Culture and Business: Does It Work?
A discussion on the state of Krakow's culture was held in the framework of Radio Krakow Forum – New Małopolska. The participants in the discussion included the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bogdan Zdrojewski, who praised MOCAK, stressing that the museum's activities are visible not only in Warsaw, but all throughout Poland, and even abroad as well.
Playing with Books: Miś Uszatek's New Friends
Children 3-8 years old and their parents are invited to another workshop in the Playing with Books series. During this meeting the children will learn about and make new illustrations for the book Miś Uszatek by Czesław Janczarski. The meeting is co-organized by Nasza Księgarnia Publishers.
A Meeting to Discuss Filip Springer's Book, Catalyst. On Zofia and Oskar Hansen
All are invited to MOCAK for the promotion of a book of biographical reportage depicting the fates of a pair of Polish architectural visionaries: Zofia and Oskar Hansen. Filip Springer tells of their unusual personalities, their bold architecture, and the gray reality that irreversibly modified their most courageous designs.
