What Is Art for? – presentation of students’ work

Published at:06.03.2013

From the 14th February, in the MOCAK Café and Reading Room there will be a presentation of the work of four students of the Academy of Fine Art in Krakow who took part in the seminar organised as part of the project What Is Art for? The following works will be on display:an artist’s book by Ania Askaldowicz with as many as 720 combinations of the letters contained in the word ‘art’, paintings by Mateusz Szczypiński and Filip Rybkowski, with their focus on the relationship between reality and representation and Tomek Kręcicki’s ironic micro-canvases. Spring weather entices one to take a walk around Zabłocie, where in many spots one can happen upon art slogans made by artists. The works on show can be viewed until the 17 March.
You will soon be able to see the next batch of art inspired by the seminar.
