Summer Cinema at MOCAK. Exit Through the Gift Shop
Throughout the summer holidays, you are welcome to our evening cinema show to see films related to the issues raised in the exhibition Art in Art. The screenings take place on Fridays at 9 pm under the arches at MOCAK, from 7 to 25 August.
Presentations about Art
From 4 July MOCAK invites you to summer meetings at the Art in Art exhibition. Every day from Tuesday to Friday at noon visitors will get the chance to listen to a commentary and interpretation delivered by one of the MOCAK specialists.
Outdoor Exhibits from the MOCAK Collection
Group of artworks situated in the area surrounding MOCAK refers to four subjects: the Holocaust, history of art, history of politics and intervention in public space.
Landscape after the Holocaust
With his life and art, Jonasz Stern left a permanent mark on the Polish art of the 20th century. Before the war, he was a member of the first Grupa Krakowska (Krakow Group), and in 1957 he co‑founded Grupa Krakowska II, with members including Maria Jarema and Tadeusz Kantor. These were the two most significant artistic formations in Poland.

The exhibition in the Re Gallery has been organised in collaboration with Miri Segal, PhD, the head of the Postgraduate Fine Art Program at Hamidrasha Beit Berl College in Kfar Saba, Israel – as part of the aforementioned program.

Lectures complementary to the Art in Art exhibition
Just before summer holidays, in the last week of June, MOCAK invites you to a series of three lectures inspired by the Art in Art exhibition.
123 Artworks from the MOCAK Collection
The seventh International Contemporary Fair Art Vilnius ’17 will be held from June 8th-11th 2017. As every year, a special exhibition programme is organized, this time it is focused on the idea of a collection.
Film screening of William Kentridge, Triumphs and Laments
MOCAK has joined the international project to show simultaneously the film William Kentridge, Triumphs and Laments directed by Giovanni Troilo in museums all over the world. You are invited to attend the screening on Thursday 1 June at 6 pm. The event accompanies the exhibition Art in Art.
Meet the artist Diana Lelonek
On Sunday 28 May at 2 pm, we would like you to invite the Diana Lelonek. As part of the Festival Photomonth Krakow 2017, in the Re Gallery we are presenting the artist’s exhibition Liban and Płaszów – A New Archeology.
