Come to the workshops accompanying a drawing performance by Michel Kichka, the author of the comic book Second Generation. Things I Never Told My Father. The event is organised as part of Krakow Night of Museums. The participants will have a chance to create drawings together with the artist. The event will take place at MOCAK Library, where Kichka's original drawings for the first French edition of the comic book are on display as part of the exhibition Poland – Israel – Germany: The Experience of Auschwitz. Through the comic book Kichka talks about the relationship with his father Henri, who was the only survivor of Auschwitz in the family. In Kichka's comic book the experiences of the Second World War are still alive and exert much influence on family life, e.g. on raising children, eating together or celebrating festivals. The workshops will be held in English. Both teenagers and adults are welcome. Registration required: edukacja@mocak.pl or by phone: 12 263 40 29.
