Second Generation – workshops with Michel Kichka

On Monday, 18^th May at 1 pm art students are welcome to attend workshops with Michel Kichka. Michel Kichka is the author of the comic book Second Generation – Things I Never Told My Father, the drawings for which are currently presented at MOCAK as part of the exhibition Poland – Israel – Germany: The Experience of Auschwitz.

Michel Kichka will talk about his artistic work, including political cartoons and the organisation Cartooning for Peace, of which he is a member. The participants of the workshops will create their own comic strips raising the question how the present day we experience is influenced by the past. The workshops will be held in English.
