First Anniversary of the Museum Polin

Polin the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw – which housed recently a meeting related to the exhibition at MOCAK entitled Poland –Israel – Germany: The Experience of Auschwitz – is celebrating its first anniversary.
Made in POLIN is a three-day celebration (9 – 11 October 2015) to mark the first anniversary of the opening of the first permanent exhibition at the Museum Polin, with the theme Journey of Transformation. The programme will include exhibitions, concerts, performances, films and workshops.
In relation to the exhibition Poland –Israel – Germany: The Experience of Auschwitz at MOCAK, on 12 September a session took place on the manner of depicting the Holocaust in contemporary art. The participants were: Anda Rottenberg – art historian, Jürgen Kaumkötter, Delfina Jałowik – curators of the exhibition Poland –Israel – Germany: The Experience of Auschwitz, the chair: Maria Anna Potocka.
