20th Anniversary of Poland’s Accession to the European Union and Exhibition Finissage at MOCAK!

As part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the European Union, the City of Krakow invites you to visit the cultural institutions established thanks to European funding. At MOCAK, the days 9 and 10 March are also the last opportunity to see the major temporary exhibitions: Try to make it real. But compared to what? Contemporary Art from Lithuania, and Painting – The Golden Medium of Art. On these days you can visit the exhibitions free of charge and take part in numerous events.

In addition, we are launching the latest booklet in the Creative Collection series, on the social responsibility of art and its shared creative role. The tasks supplied in the booklet have been inspired by the works of Stan Filk, Suzanne Husky, Alicia Framis and Adam Rzepecki.
Visitors will be able to download the booklets at the Museum Reception.
During the weekend of 9 – 10 March 2024, visits to the exhibitions and participation in the events are free of charge for participants; tickets are funded by the City of Krakow as part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the European Union.
