Walter Koschatzky 2015 Art Award

Artists aged 35 years or younger are welcome to take part in the Walter Koschatzky Art Award competition organised by the Rotary and Rotaract Club Wien – Albertina.
The participants should submit three works in any technique. Submissions must be made exclusively on-line via the application form on website www.koschatzkykunstpreis.at The contest encompasses the full range of artistic creativity. Participants may choose any theme. Deadline for submissions: midnight 31January, 2015.
The works awarded the three main prizes (1st prize € 6 000, 2nd prize € 4 000 and 3rd prize € 2 500) will be purchased for an additional 1 000 € and become a part of the Rotary Club Wien-Albertina collection. In addition purchases to the value of no less than € 5 000 are planned by the organiser and sponsors.
Walter Koschatzky (1921–2003) was an Austrian art historian, curator and art history author. For over 25 years he was active in the field of graphic arts events, organising 210 exhibitions at the Albertina and numerous other venues in Austria and abroad (including in USA, Russia, China and France).
