On Sunday 26 October at 3 pm come to the discussion New Media: A Prosthetic of Perception? about the importance of interactive technology for cultural institutions.

What have mobile apps and computer games got to offer to museums? Do they enable users to participate more fully in culture? Does the ever-increasing popularity of these media reflect their usefulness or is it only the market’s response to a market-led consumer demand?

Discussion with: Ewelina Czechowicz, manager, MOCAK Promotions Department; Maciej Jakubowiak (Jagiellonian University), journalist, expert in mobile technology; Karina Jarzyńska, MOCAK education specialist. The session will be chaired by Jolanta Rydel, media analyst.
