On Friday 4 July at 7 pm at the "Signs of the Times Centre" of Contemporary Art in Toruń the exibition will open entitled Collages or Home-Made Cut-and-Paste Postcards by Wisława Szymborska. The Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow is the exhibition partner.
Early this year, MOCAK presented the collection of 270 collages by the Polish Nobel laureate, which have been kindly loaned by her friends and public institutions (the Wisława Szymborska Foundation, the National Library). The Toruń exhibition will present the collages from that show as well as works never before shown in public, from the archives of Tadeusz Zakrzewski and Maria Kalota –Szymańska, both associated with this city.
