Summer Cinema at MOCAK: American Honey

From 29 June to 31 August you are invited to evening film screenings related to the exhibition Motherland in Art. The shows take place on Fridays in the MOCAK arcades. All films have Polish subtitles. Admission is free.

Each screening will be preceded by an introduction by the film expert Adrian D. Kowalski, who will be talking about motherland in cinema.

Star, an adolescent girl from a troubled home, runs away with a traveling sales crew who drive across the American Midwest selling subscriptions door to door. Finding her feet in this gang of teenagers, one of whom is Jake, she soon gets into the group's lifestyle of hard-partying nights, law-bending days, and young love.

The purchase of the laser projector was supporteded by the project ‘Purchases of modern multimedia equipment to improve the offer of MOCAK the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow’ co-funded by the EU as part of Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region 2014–2020.
