The Syrian poet Kholoud Charaf working closely with MOCAK Library
It gives us pleasure to announce that MOCAK Library is working closely with Kholoud Charaf, a Syrian poet, art critic and journalist, who is in Krakow as a recipient of a grant from the International Cities of Refuge Network (ICORN) grant – an organisation which offers shelter to writers and artists who due to persecution are unable to live and work creatively in their own country.

Active Reading: Imaginary Fred
On 22 September 2018 at midday, children aged 4 to 10 are invited with their families to attend active reading of the book Imaginary Fred by Eoin Colfer, about an imaginary friend, with illustrations by Oliver Jeffers.

From 29 June to 31 August you are invited to evening film screenings related to the exhibition Motherland in Art. The shows take place on Fridays in the MOCAK arcades.
Kichka: Life Is a Cartoon screening in MOCAK
On 7 September at 9 pm we invite you to the Museum arcades for a special screening of the film Kichka: Life Is a Cartoon, a co-production of MOCAK and the Center of Persecuted Art in Solingen. Admission is free.
