Window of Memory. An object commemorating Kristallnacht
On the initiative of MOCAK, Lurje Schaina and Josephina Memorial Foundation Inc and the Center for Persecuted Arts in Solingen, the object Window of Memory was created to commemorate Kristallnacht of 9 November 1938.
Edward Dwurnik (1943–2018)
Edward Dwurnik, an outstanding artist and our friend, died on 28 October 2018.
Handy Art 2: Workshop with Krzysztof M. Bednarski
On Saturday 17 November at 3 pm, we invite you to a workshop with Krzysztof M. Bednarski inspired by the work Design for Wisława Szymborska Award (for a Fundation Named after the Poet) from the MOCAK Collection.
International conference Roman Ingarden and His Times
During 25–27 October 2018, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow will host the International Phenomenological Conference dedicated to the philosophy of Roman Ingarden. MOCAK is a a partner of the event.
Poland: 100 Years at the 22nd Book Fair in Krakow
On Saturday 26 October at 3 pm, we invite you to a discussion on the publication Poland: 100 Years, which will take place as part of the 22nd International Book Fair in Krakow. The discussion will be attended by the authors of individual essays, including Dr Maria Anna Potocka.
MOCAK Forum Special Edition 1/2018 Memory of the Holocaust
MOCAK has published a special edition of the MOCAK Forum magazine: Memory of the Holocaust. The issue continues the Museum’s activity related to working through the history and memory of the Holocaust.
