Welcome to the last in the series of evening film shows in the MOCAK colonnade! The films presented are thematically linked to the exhibition Crime in Art.
On Friday 22 August at 9.30 pm, you are invited to Jackpot, a film directed by Magnus Martens (Norway).
In this bravado black comedy, at times verging on the macabre, bodies fall thick and fast and absurdities pile up. There are clear echoes of Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie. Martens’ film is an inventive cinematic game playing, taking the mickey out of Scandinavian thrillers; the film has no compunction in going all out to combine humour with violence.
Entry free.
With Polish subtitles.
