Meet the artist Susan Lipper

On Saturday 20 May at 1.30 pm, we would like you to invite the artist Susan Lipper. As part of the festival Photomonth Krakow 2017, in the Beta Gallery we are presenting Susan Lipper’s exhibition Grapevine: 1988–1992. Hosted by the curator Gordon MacDonald.
Susan Lipper lives and works in New York. She graduated as a fine arts photographer from Yale University in 1983. Her most important monographic works include: Bed and Breakfast (2000), Trip (1999) and Grapevine (1994). Lipper’s photographs can be seen in the collections of contemporary art at the most prestigious museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The artist has been received numerous awards and distinctions, most recently the Guggenheim Fellowship in 2015.
