On Saturday, 6 December at 12 noon, please join us for the English-language guided tour of the exhibition Great Contemporaries: A Gift from Teresa and Andrzej Starmach.
In the autumn of 2023, Teresa and Andrzej Starmach donated to the MOCAK Collection 67 works by the most important Polish contemporary artists – a significant part of their own private collection, which they had been gathering for years. The donation includes paintings, sculptures, installations and stage designs, which have enhanced our collection with works that are fundamental to Polish art history. Among the works on display are classic pieces of Polish contemporary art, such as Magdalena Abakanowicz’s Embryology and Edward Krasiński’s Labyrinth, as well as works by important artists associated with Kraków – Marek Chlanda, Piotr Lutyński and Grzegorz Sztwiertnia.
Admission is included in the ticket price. No prior reservation is required. Participants are asked to arrive at the MOCAK reception desk five minutes before the tour. The estimated duration of the tour is 90 minutes.
