Bernhard Johannes Blume

(1937-2011)
Photography, drawing, graphic art. Jointly with his wife Anna, he created a large photographic series, in which he himself appeared. In his works, he showed the tension between the individual and the objects which appropriate him. Objects that revolve, fly around and crash are at the core of the universe presented by Blume, and people must relate to them with caution or else be overwhelmed by them. Whilst parodying bourgeois daily reality, the artist also deconstructed it.
