A Visual Story – About the Representation of LGBT+ People

We invite adults who identify as LGBT+ to take part in an artistic project. The starting point during the workshops will be a reflection on sexual identity in the context of current social discourse. The workshops will culminate in a photographic session, the visual aspect of which will have been developed through group discussion. The event accompanies the MOCAK project Krzysztof Wodiczko: Sky Above Krakow: LGBT Speak Out: A Drone Performance on Rynek Główny (24 – 26 September 2021, 8.30 pm –10 pm).

The sessions of the project A Visual Story – About the Representation of LGBT+ People will take place on:
- Saturday 25 September, 5 pm – 6.30 pm
- Saturday 9 October, 5 pm – 6.30 pm
- Friday 15 October, 5 pm – 6.30 pm
The participation fee is 5 PLN per person. The ticket allows you to visit the Museum on the day of the event. The number of places is limited. Please register in advance at edukacja@mocak.pl or by phone: 12 263 40 35 (Tuesday – Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm)
Concept, led by: Krzysztof Marchlak (1987)
Artist and cultural activistr, photographer, painter and author of installations. Assistant professor at the Institute of Painting and Art Education at the Pedagogical University of the National Education Commission in Krakow. His works are presented, among others, in the international project BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Magazine.
