Zofia Kulik
(b. 1947) Sculpture, photography, performance. Together with Przemysław Kwiek, she formed the artistic duo KwieKulik. She has made numerous photographic collages in which the structures are determined by the repetition of certain motifs. She finds the demonic nature of totalitarianism both unsettling and intriguing. Multiple repetitions of symbols of power turn into an aesthetic composition and thus undergo a change of significance.
