Wolf Kahlen

(b. 1940)                                                                                                                                                  Video, installation, intermedia. He was one of the first artists to employ the new media. His video works are not only based on the recording of reality, nor are they a closed narrative but rather, as a part of the installation, they have an impact on the viewer’s perception, leading to a clash of the real with the virtual. The goal of the artist is to turn the viewer’s attention on to himself.
