The catalogue comprises over 250 photographs on 320 pages (including photographs of all the works presented at the exhibition, archival pictures of lost works – most of them unpublished so far, the artist's private photographs as well as photographs of the interior of his studio taken in 1960s). The book also comprises texts written by Władysław Hasior, Mariusz Hermansdorfer, Danuta Józefik, Urszula Kenar, Hanna Kirchner, Hanna Irena Osiadła and Maria Anna Potocka, as well as the Timeline including the most important events in the life of the artist and providing a commentary on his evolving art, enriched with excerpts from newspapers and Hasior's private correspondence.
The publication offers an important contribution to the hithero prevailing knowledge about one of the greatest Polish artists of the second half of the 20th century.
