International Art Hang-Out at MOCAK
On 28 May from 2 pm to 4 pm we would like to invite the international residents of Krakow to participate in a museum activity designed especially for them. Everyone else is also welcome to join us!
Music without Fanfare: Sinfonietta Cracovia
On Wednesday 18 May at 7.30 pm we would like to invite you to another concert at MOCAK from the series entitled Tajniki dodekafonii.
Weekend workshops for children on the MOCAK Collection
Children are welcome to come to the series of educational workshops devoted to works in the MOCAK Collection. During each session, the focus will be on a particular work and the participants will engage in their own related artistic activity.
Night of Museums 2016
On Friday 13 May come to the Night of Museums in MOCAK. On the day, the Museum will be open only from 7 pm until 1 am. During that time the visitors will be able to view all the exhibitions free of charge as well as take part in guided tours, events and competitions organised especially for the occasion.
Masters Series: Max Pinckers. Krakow Photomonth Festival
On Thursday 12 May at 7 pm come and meet the Belgian photographer Max Pinckers, the author of the project Will They Sing Like Raindrops..., which we are showing in Re Gallery.
Libraries Week 2016
During 8–15 May, in collaboration with the Association of Polish Librarians we would like to invite you to the Libraries Week.
Anatomy Lesson – artistic workshop for adults
On Sunday 8 May at 2 pm young people and adults are welcome to join the artistic workshop inspired by the exhibition Medicine in Art.
Slow Art Day
As in previous years, the attendees will be invited to look slowly and closely at five pre-assigned works of art from the MOCAK Collection and The Mieczysław Porębski Library.
Mieke Bal at MOCAK: World premiere of the film Reasonable Doubt
On Saturday 23 April at 6 pm we would like to invite you to a world premiere of the Mieke Bal latest film Reasonable Doubt. After the screening there will be a chance to meet the author and artists and a discussion led by Roma Sendyka (Jagiellonian Unversity) and Magdalena Mazik (MOCAK).
Medicine in Art
Medicine in Art is another exhibition in the series that confronts terms permeating the public sphere of reference with the viewpoint of the artist.
