New exhibition about Wisława Szymborska opens at MOCAK
From Tuesday, 1 February, we will present an exhibition devoted to Wisława Szymborska. The exhibition was prepared for the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the poet's death.
On the 10th Anniversary of the Death of Wisława Szymborska
The show includes – alongside the poet’s collages from the MOCAK Collection – copies of Polish editions of Szymborska’s poems, a selection of translations and monographs devoted to her, poetic posters by Ryszard Krynicki, and her private memorabilia – one of them her Nobel Prize medal, and portraits of Szymborska by Beata Stankiewicz, Leszek Sobocki, Edward Dwurnik and Krzysztof M. Bednarski.
