On Thursday, March 27 at 6 p.m. we would like to invite you to a discussion with Rafał Bujnowski and Łukasz Gorczyca. The discussion will be chaired by Maria Anna Potocka, the director of MOCAK.

The meeting will also be promoting Rafał Bujnowski's first monograph titled Polityka obrazów. Wybrane prace z lat 1999—2013 (The policy of paintings. Selected works from 1999—2013), which has just been published by Fundacja Raster.

The title of the book refers to the multitude and diversity of pictorial strategies adopted by the artist and foremost to the problem incessantly discussed in his art: to what extent an artist's work can be verified by other than solely artistic criteria? The long-awaited album comprises over 130 paintings and other works selected from Bujnowski's artistic output of fifteen years, all of which have been carefully reproduced and annotated by critics, curators, scholars, art collectors and artists.
