The Desire for Freedom – Curator’s guided tour

We would like to invite you to a curator’s guided tour. The works presented at the exhibition The Need for Freedom provide a social and political landscape of contemporary Europe and the problems that it is wrestling with. The exhibition poses questions about how individuals want to live their lives, take stock of history and behave when faced with totalitarian regimes. It demonstrates how artists expose social taboos. It also raises the question of government policies and politicians’ obligation to provide welfare for the society they govern.
