Sarah Lucas

Sculpture, installation, photography. She is part of the generation of Young British Artists. In her work she uses humorous visual associations and puns, in unconventional ways exploring the themes of corporeality and sexuality. In her works she confronts gender stereotypes, as body substitutes using everyday items such as clothes, furniture of food. In her compositions she often draws on the artistic canon.
