Welcome to the evening screenings in the MOCAK colonnade! The films that you will be able to view are thematically linked to the exhibition Crime in Art.

On Friday 8 August at 9.30 pm, you are invited to the screening of Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan (Turkey, Bosnia and Hercegovina).

This is a record of the search for the body of a murdered man, whose murderer was too drunk to recall where he had buried the body. We have no idea who the killer was or how or why he had committed the murderous act. The whys and wherefores of the crime soon pale into the background, however. In this chilling narrative about the wearing journey of the policemen, prosecutor, doctor and the suspect, it is the relationships between the protagonists including their seemingly banal exchanges and scraps of conversation that become the focus of attention.
Run time: 157 min

Entry free.
With Polish subtitles.

Subsequent screening will take place on 22 August.
