MOCAK - Krakow's best architectural commission

The City of Krakow has just been awarded the prestigious Dedalo Minosse International Prize 2010/2011. The jury of world famous architects, historians and curators, has declared the Museum of Contemporary Art the best architectural commission and a par excellence example of modern and functional architecture.

The award is granted every two years. The first edition of the competition took place in 1997. The organisers are the ALA-Assoarchitetti (italian association of architects) as well as the Veneto region.
The aim of the award is to select architecture works already finished, as good practice of the contemporary architecture research that confirms the quality given by a fruitful collaboration between the architect and the client.
