The Mayor of the City of Krakow has granted the residents’ wish and has provided the funds to purchase a villa, with its surrounding garden, that once belonged to the Kossak family. The entire building is included in the list of historic monuments.

After a radical renovation and adaptation, a branch of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow MOCAK will be established on the premises. The future exhibition will include the history of the Kossak family and a permanent historical exhibition on cultural changes in art, literature and music.
