The catalogue comprises reminiscences about Marian Eile by Maria Anna Potocka, essays by Justyna Jaworska and Agnieszka Sachar about Eile’s most remarkable achievement – Przekrój, interviews with Mieczysław Czuma and Wojciech Plewiński and the timeline of Eile’s life provided by Tomasz Potkaj. The second part of the publication takes a closer look at the areas of Eile’s activity – as painter, editor and photographer. Besides reproductions of Eile’s paintings, photographs and postcards which are on display in the exhibition, there are reprints of his texts that appeared in Przekrój, and also his designs for the column Franciszek i inni [Francis and Others], which he produced for Szpilki. The catalogue is supplemented with photographs by Wojciech Plewiński and drawings by Adam Macedoński, both artists who worked closely with Przekrój.
