On Tuesday 5 October at 7 pm we would like to invite you to a concert of the string quartet ARTEL, who will perform works by Gideon Klein, Hans Krása and Arnold Schönberg. The event is organised by the Austrian Consulate General in Krakow in colaboration with the Exilarte Centre of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.

The quartet ARTEL, formed in 2018 in Vienna by musicians from three countries – Kazakhstan, Russia and France, represents the diversity that has found a common language in music. The group has been named after a traditional Russian co-operative of workers from different sectors working in absolute equality. Similarly, the quartet ARTEL brings together four musicians from very different backgrounds; its goal – to promote cultural dialogue between East and West.

The concert will take place in the MOCAK audiovisual room and also be live streamed on YouTube channel of the Austrian Cultural Forum Warsaw >> ADMISSION FREE. All places have been filled.

QUARTET ARTEL:
First violin: Djanay Tulenova
Second violin: Zarina Imayakova
Viola: Liliya Nigamedzyanova
Cello: Melchior Saux
