MOCAK and the Małopolska Garden of Arts would like to invite you to a meeting with Kamil Sipowicz, a philosophy historian, artist and journalist, organised as part of the series Altered States of Consciousness.

Sipowicz’s new publication, Encyklopedia polskiej psychodelii. Od Mickiewicza do Masłowskiej, od Witkacego do street artu (An Encyclopaedia of Polish Psychedelia. From Mickiewicz to Masłowska, from Witkacy to Street Art) is the first such an exhaustive monograph on the issue of psychedelic drug use among Polish artists. The author uncovers unknown facts, recalls forgotten episodes from the lives of artists and writers, explores Slavic traditions. He illustrates it all with vivid quotations and reproductions. The book will be available for purchase at the meeting.
