On Thursday 4 December at 6 pm come to the screening of the film Dirty Wars (USA, 2013), which accompanies the latest
issue of the quarterly "Autoportret", themed on modern warfare.

The thriller-style documentary presents the story and outcome of Jeremy Scahill’s investigative journalism, conducted in, amongst others, Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia. It exposed the humanitarian, legal and political effects of American ‘War on Terror’ that keeps encompassing yet more countries and regions.

Mateusz Curyło, the author of Names of War, a text published in the latest issue of "Autoportret", will introduce the issues dealt with by the film.

The session has been organised by MOCAK the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow and Małopolski Instytut Kultury, the publisher of the quarterly "Autoportret".
