Conference Responsibility Does Not Know Any Hesitation – Questions to the Center for Persecuted Arts
The Director of MOCAK, Maria Anna Potocka, is taking part in the international conference entitled Responsibility Does Not Know Any Hesitation – Questions to the Center for Persecuted Arts, taking place from 19 to 20 April in the Center for Persecuted Arts in Solingen. During the conference, as a member of a discussion panel, she will give a talk on History Museums, Art Museums, Memorials, Initiatives – Remembrance for the Future? Other participants in that part of the conference are the Director of the Seam Museum in Jerusalem, Raphie Etgar, the artist Manaf Halbouni, the Deputy Chair of the World Congress of Jews, Tomáš Kraus, the curator of the art collection at Yad Vashem, Eliad Moreh-Rosenberg, and the Director of the Institute for Migration at the University in Osnabrück, Christoph Rass.
During the conference, there will be a showing of the documentary Kichka: Life Is a Cartoon, produced by MOCAK in collaboration with the Center for Persecuted Arts in Solingen in 2018.
