An advertisment hoarding is the part of our reality that we perceive as visual rubbish. Because it has been rendered using the technique of oil on canvas, the hoarding has acquired pretensions to be called a work of art. The work plays on the content versus the medium, which if sufficiently respectable elevates the banal to the level of art.
