Projection on the Adam Mickiewicz Monument
Projection on the Mickiewicz monument in Warsaw on the fortieth anniversary of March 1968. Figures entering into personifications of the poetic sage proclaim fragments of Forefathers’ Eve and The Book of Pilgrimage, paying homage to human potential and indicating the value of contact with people of different faiths and religions. Around this projection rises fog – used as a screen – on which the figure of Gomułka appears, delivering an anti-Semitic speech. On the wisdom and tolerance of the “great man” are superimposed the criminal words of the “little man.”
