Artist, Go!: Writing Applications and Financing Art Projects

07.12.2013 at 11:30

Published at:30.11.2013

How do you write the perfect Letter of Application? It has to be well thought-out both in terms
of presentation and content as well as to meet all the ‘box-ticking’ selection criteria. Yet, this is easier said than done… The workshop activity will provide an opportunity for hands-on writing of an Application Letter and advice how to avoid typical errors as well as answers to many frequently asked questions including the sources of possible grants. Entry free.

Led by:
Marta Czyż – an independent curator, the author of the projects Graduate at Galeria Kordegarda and Profession: Artist at Galeria Raster.
Szymon Żydek –  works at the Bęc Zmiana Foundation. A curator and project designer locally, nationally and internationally.

Artist, Go! is a series of lectures aiming to provide young artists with the rudimentary know-how to facilitate their negotiation of the professional art world. The know-how consists of a set of principles arranged in accordance with the issues that they concern and which the artists will encounter even before they graduate and with which they have to grapple as professional artists.
